The Russian company Yota Devices will offer its new YotaPhone for sale in December. A special novelty among smartphones is its "dual personality" - a traditional LCD screen at the front, an e-reader at the back.
It could see a lot of success among die-hard readers who already use readers as they are Kindle, etc.
It will be equipped with a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor, 2 GB of system memory, a camera with a resolution of 12 million points with a flash, protective glass Gorilla Glass, a 10.9 cm diagonal screen with a resolution of 1280×720 points, a battery with a capacity of 1800 mAh and will work with the help of an operating system Android 4.2.2 or later.
Thanks to electronic ink technology, it will be able to display notifications and messages in real time, which you will see without activating the phone. Also, the additional "eInk" screen with a resolution of 360×640 pixels will not excessively affect battery consumption. They are already accepting pre-orders on their official website, and the estimated price is around €400.
