Yotel announced some time ago that it is moving to Singapore with 600 cabins. We can expect it in 2018.

Yotel is an interesting hotel concept that was initially designed as airport hotel, and in recent years it has been expanding beyond airports as well. These are very small rooms, actually cabins, which offer the individual everything he needs.

It is the brainchild of Simon Woodroff, who wanted to create the comfort of a luxury hotel at an affordable price. He drew inspiration from Japanese mini hotel capsules. Simon's idea seemed interesting to Gerald Green and it was created Yotel. Most interesting of all is the location. Yotel namely the hotel at the airport. Not in the immediate vicinity of the airport, but fine at the terminal, just a few steps away from the plane. At airports, Yotel has three types of cabins that can be rented for a minimum of four hours. The first two Yotels opened in 2007 in London, at Heathrow and Gatwick, and a year later at Amsterdam Airport.

These are small but comfortable rooms, actually cabins, that have a comfortable bed that turns into a sofa at the push of a button. The space is functionally and flexibly designed and as such satisfies the individual's needs to relax, relax, refresh, connect and sleep. All rooms have wireless connection, fully equipped bathroom and television. We book Yotel online, and register via the airport's interactive multimedia kiosk.

After Yotel at Amsterdam Airport would expect a new airport location, but Yotel turned in a different direction and opened in 2011 hotel in New York. Not at the airport, but right in the city. The idea, on second thought, seems logical for crowded cities. With the center itself, two blocks west of Times Square, there are cabins, which are larger for 30% than at the airport with a little more luxury. We can choose from different types, from cabins with a double or king bed, to corner cabins with several window areas, the most luxurious versions have a terrace and even an outdoor jacuzzi. New York's Yotel has come to life tremendously and is a place of constant urban happenings. During the marathon in the city, the hotel offered free massages to runners, there is space for pop-up shops, and until the end of November, we can also see Zach Hyman's colorful installation of three thousand colorful plastic balls...
