Got a sunburn? You can find help right in your kitchen. Along with gel and aloe vera, honey is one of the home remedies that is successfully used in the treatment of sunburn. Due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, it has a beneficial effect on the healing of irritated and damaged skin.

Sunburns occur as as a result of the action of UV-B rays certain wavelengths. Sunburns of various degrees can appear on skin that has been excessively exposed to the sun. Burns easier stages affect the top layer of the skin, which is red, burning, sensitive to touch and slightly swollen. Burns intermediate level they damage the skin more deeply, in addition to redness, swelling of the skin appears, accompanied by blisters, a feeling of heat, pain, itching and general fatigue. Apply it to the affected area three to four times a day or until the redness disappears. Before washing off, leave it on the skin at least 30 minutes, so that it really soaks in and does its job.

  • do not expose yourself to the sun between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m
  • retreat to the shadows
  • wear headgear, safety glasses, protective clothing
  • protect your skin with creams that have complete protection against UVA and UVB rays
  • apply the cream at least 30 minutes before sunbathing, then every time after bathing
