The online video portal YouTube has chosen classical television as its next victim. Namely, it is introducing a subscription package of television programs, which will directly compete with traditional providers of cable, satellite and internet television.
They are cable and satellite television counting the days? YouTube it introduces streaming television service YouTube TV, with which it targets younger users who do not want access to television programs in the classic way. The service will be introduced in the following months (the exact release date is not yet known), initially in the USA. On YouTube TV, users will be able to watch programs such as CBS, ABC, NBC and NBC (about 40 programs will be available to users for a monthly subscription of US$35), and they will be able to access from any device with an internet connection.

The service will also enable recording shows for later viewing, and other users' content will also be accessible. This will put YouTube in direct competition traditional providers of paid packages television programs. Even YouTube TV is not perfect, as the list is (still) missing a bunch of popular programs, such as CNN, TNT, Showtime, HBO etc.
