German brand Adidas has once again teamed up with environmental organization Parley for the Oceans to launch new sneakers made from marine debris for eco-conscious individuals. Adidas UltraBOOST Uncaged x Parley are made from recycled plastic waste found in the sea, where eight million tons of plastic waste are dumped every year. They have previously introduced the Ultra Boost and Pure Boost X eco sneakers, but the Uncaged Parley is the first to be mass-produced. At the same time, Adidas also presented recycled football jerseys made from sea waste for football giants Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Adidas presented the first ones last year sneakers made from marine debris and fishing nets, and this year he continues his ecologically conscious approach in the production of sports shoes. According to the eco version of the sneaker Ultra Boost and Pure Boost X Adidas also sends sports shoes to the shelves Adidas UltraBOOST Uncaged x Parley.
This time again, Adidas connected with the organization Parley for the Oceans, which takes care of raising awareness about the pollution of the seas and oceans. With the combined strengths, they have prepared sneakers that you can wear for approx. 200 euros bought already in the middle November 2016. Recycled and extremely attractive sneakers have all the characteristics of sneakers Adidas UltraBOOST, which boast the revolutionary UltraBOOST technology. 95 percent adidas UltraBOOST Uncaged x Parley recycled sneakers are made from plastic marine waste, and 5 percent from recycled polyester, collected on the shores of the Maldives. Adidas is supposed to make 7000 of the mentioned pairs, which is otherwise only a drop in the bucket when it comes to the production of sneakers of this German brand - by the end of 2017, Adidas will produce million pairs – but a step in the right direction when it comes to more socially responsible behavior multinational.
At the same time, Adidas and Parley also presented the first environmentally friendly shoes soccer jerseys, made especially for football clubs Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. The latter already proudly wore them on November 5, 2015 in a match against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, and the 'white ballet' footballers will play in them against Real Sporting de Dijón on November 26, 2016. The jerseys are also made from recycled plastic, which ended up in the oceans. The print is also environmentally friendly, as it was for water-based printing.
