Red
The second most common passport color is also the color of the passport of the residents of Slovenia. It is used by all members of the European Union, as well as some federal states along the Pacific Ocean coast and former communist countries in Southeast Asia.
Blue
Blue passports are considered the most numerous, as they are used by as many as 77 nations. The most typical representatives of this group of countries are members of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
Green
The third most popular color is found on the passports of 43 nations, especially those with a majority Muslim population. Green is considered to be the favorite color of the Prophet Muhammad, and the Koran also describes paradise as a place where people wear green silk clothes. It should also be noted that residents of Mexico and Taiwan, among whom there are not many Muslims, also have green passports.
