New York's famous JFK airport is richer for a luxury animal terminal. It is the first terminal of its kind in the world. It covers an area of 178,000 square meters and swallowed 65 million US dollars.
New York JFK Airport (John F. Kennedy International Airport) has a new acquisition – animal terminal, which is called ARK, and it will allow the passage of all kinds of animals from dogs and cats to horses, chickens and exotic specimens. The terminal will be open 24 hours a day and will provide veterinary care, a special part called The Ark Pet Oasis, but will be reserved for chipping and possibly quarantine. Since traveling can be much more stressful for animals than it is for humans, the terminal also offers care for them, all of them from massage to haircut. Dogs of the breed were the first to test the terminal cocker spaniel, who traveled to Great Britain.

Anyone who has ever flown with a pet knows that the process is usually complicated, and above all, tiring. For you, and even more so for the animals. The goal 65 million dollar investment is to create as much as possible safe and efficient system with personnel trained to handle animals. Overnight accommodation for small animals costs 125 dollars, and you will have to pay as much as 10 thousand dollars for the care of the horse.
Having said that, it should be added that some rooms have antimicrobial walls and a special air filtration system. JFK Airport expects to travel through the ARK terminal annually around 70 thousand animals, including five thousand horses and 10 thousand pets such as dogs, cats and birds.
