Bizarre Japanese inventions

Many inventions come from Japan, and without them many things today would be a much tougher nut to crack than otherwise. Admittedly, they didn't invent special tongs for rubbing these healthy nuts, but that's why there are so many things in our environment that they signed up for. But no one is perfect, and here and there they indulged in some hiccups. And if nothing else, such inventions are for laughs, and that counts for something, right?

What is seen here in the summer at the border crossings with Croatia is in front of the patent offices in Japan. Kilometer long queues. It is Japan concept for invention. But in this flood of inventions there is also a 'rotten egg', or rather an invention that prides itself on its bizarreness rather than its brilliance. Over time, these have become quite a phenomenon, so it's no wonder that they also have their own name- chindōgu. These are inventions that are so absurd that their absurdity completely distracts attention from their actual usefulness. And that's how they ended up in the chapter instead of on the shelves "It's not true, but it is". It is true that the culture in Japan is completely different from what we are used to here, but it seems that such inventions have gone a bit too far. One way or another.

Air conditioners are out of fashion. Japanese cooling is coming. With a spray!
