The BMW Vision Next 100 Concept is a visionary concept with which BMW honored the 100th anniversary of the company's existence. Instead of cake and nostalgic shots, they served a vision, an automated hybrid between a sports coupe and a limousine, which happily meets the demands and wishes of the driver.
BMW Vision Next 100 Concept it is autonomous vehicle study, which completely obeys the needs of the driver. At BMW, they achieved that the driver and the car feel as one with the system "Alive Geometry” (live geometry) that communicates with the driver in Boost and Ease modes. In the first, it leaves the control of the steering to the driver and ga with an active safety system as a guardian angel protects against dangerous situations (with a display ideal driving lines, advising on optimal speed, steering wheel inclination, projection of invisible obstacles ...), while in Ease mode the driver completely leaves control and choice to the vehicle, as it is intended for autonomous driving (the steering wheel is stored in the dashboard, the headrests are adjusted, the driver's and passenger's seats turn towards each other...). In accordance with both regimes, the interior is greatly changed, which can boast of a car 800 moving parts.
The BMW Vision Next 100 Concept is built from carbon fiber and reinforced with plastic. More than that attracts stretch coat, in which they are also dressed tires. The interior is made of renewable and recycled materials, and despite the trend of automatic driving, the BMW Vision Next 100 Concept, which we can expect in showrooms sometime in 2045, remains directed towards the driver, because even in the future drivers would like to have partial control over the vehicle. The technical data is scarce, it is only known drag coefficient, which is 0.18. The vehicle has no B-pillar and the doors open upwards.

BMW will go on a world tour with the BMW Vision Next 100 Concept study, otherwise it will be in the year when it celebrates venerable jubilee, presented more futuristic studies for his British brand Minis and Rolls-Royces and for the motorcycle department BMW Motorrad. BMW officially had its 100th birthday March 7, 2016. Exactly 100 years before that, the aircraft engine company was founded BFW. The name BMW did not appear until 1917, so BMW will celebrate its centenary twice, the second time June 21, 2017. Under the name as we know it (Bayerische Motoren Werk Aktiengesellschaft; BMW AG), the company has been operating since 1918, when it was given this title by an Austrian Franz Josef Popp, one of the founders and long-time director of BMW.
