Scandinavian design dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, but it really gained ground in the 1990s, when it convinced the public with its practicality. Today, minimalism has been in trend for more than 50 years. Traditionally, Scandinavian design is associated with clean and simple solutions, functionality and a democratic approach. And this approach is also used by Swedish designer Jonas Wagell, who designed a minimalist sofa and armchair.
Swedish designer Jonas Wagell is for a Danish brand Norman Copenhagen designed the minimalist Swell furniture line. He originally designed a three-seater, and today his collection Scandinavian design it also includes a two-seater and an armchair. The lines are simple and round. He says Scandinavian design reminds of the shape of the bread during the rising process. Huge backrests for hands and curved padded seats flourish and provide us with comfort and a relaxed sitting. Reclining they look equally round for the arms and the back, and as a whole they work irresistibly attractively. Sofa and armchair rise from the ground to small steel legs.
In the collection, we can find a different palette of colors, from bright to neutral tones.
