British watercraft manufacturer Glider Yachts recently launched the futuristic Super Sports vessel (SS 18, which seems like a bold concept that will never be realized, but it is not). As the name suggests, this speedboat/catamaran measures 18 meters in length, and in the future the British plan to produce a whole series of such fast vessels that will measure up to 80 meters.
Glider Yachts Super Sports (SS 18) is an unusual vessel, a kind of raised speedboat that literally offers a new level of cruising. It's made of aluminum and powered by a quartet of powerful motors 270 hp, which allows him to sail up to speed 56 knots (103 km/h).

Glider Yachts is about building a vessel that is based on a catamaran and they assembled it in the shipyard Burgess Marine, took eight years. A design studio was commissioned for the interior Corbeau, and for steering and controls Garmin. They adapt it to the wishes of the buyer, which is for the price 1.3 million US dollars expected. It is intended for transportation four people.
