The humorous series Full House is returning to the small screen

The once extremely popular American comedy series Full House, which many of us grew up watching for seven years, is returning to the small screen with part of the original cast.

Next year, the colorful group of the family comedy series will return to the small screen Full house, which will be even fuller this time, as the producers have titled it Fuller House. John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse in the series, confirmed the news on the show Jimmy Kimmel Live! and said that the premise of the new 13-episode series will be slightly different, as it will focus on DJ Tanner, the actress' character Candace Cameron Bure. She will play a pregnant and recently widowed veterinarian with two sons, rebellious 12-year-old JD and perpetually worried 7-year-old Max. Due to the need for help in raising his sons, he moves in with his younger sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), an aspiring musician, and her childhood friend Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), who has a teenage daughter, Ramona.

While Stamos will continue to entertain the even more packed house, the Netflix production house is also in talks with Bob Saget, who played the head of the family, father Danny Tanner, and his sisters in Full House Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, who shared the role of the youngest Michelle Tanner, and would also appear as a guest in the series Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin.

If nothing else, Stamos wants and suggests that the majority of the original cast should at least star together in an hour-long special series commemorating the anniversary of Full House, which captivated more than 10 million viewers around the world between 1987 and 1995.
