Immortus - the world's first solar vehicle that can drive indefinitely

Immortus can ride indefinitely.

The Immortus electric vehicle is the world's first solar-powered vehicle that can be driven indefinitely, as it does not require recharging. It is the vision of the future of the Australian company EVX Ventures, which as an alternative to the sun offers a drive on electric HUB motors on the rear wheels, which is provided by a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery with a night range of 400 kilometers. The first prototype of the vehicle will be shown to the public for the first time through a puddle at the SEMA Show in November 2015.

A futuristic electric vehicle Immortus, which applies to the world's first solar vehicle, which can ride on the sun into infinity, boasts revolutionary technology. Although they will be at EVX Ventures made everything 100 such vehicles, but this is a big step towards mass production. The authors drew inspiration for the 550-kilogram car from post-apocalyptic film worlds, and the car itself is a kind of lesson for them, which is as follows. If cars powered by petroleum products did not exist, bloodshed, as we were, e.g. received in the film Mad Max, which like Immortus hails from Australia, would not be necessary.

With Immortus, you will also be able to ride into the sunset, as it has an alternative in HUB engines for cases when the sun is not shining.

Although Immortus (or Immortal in Slovenian) works only as a bold vision or idea, but it has specific specifications and also a price. This will be five meters long, 1.1 meters high, two meters wide and with seven square meters of solar modules the frightened two-seater moved around 330 thousand euros. EVX claims the efficiency of silicon cells 22 percent, and all the collected solar energy will be collected in 10 kWh lithium-ion batteries. He will show off with two 20 kW HUB motors, which will be located in the rear wheels. From 0 to 100 km/h he will take it seven seconds, and with a full battery, at a speed of approx. 85 km/h drove around 550 kilometers far away. If you want an infinite range, you need a constant "inflow" of solar energy and economical driving at 60 km/h. The first Immortus were said to have been produced in the end in 2016, and even earlier in November 2015 at the SEMA Show presented in Las Vegas as a working prototype.
