The letter F at the end of the model name means the same for this renowned Japanese brand as for the Bavarian models the letter M, or a little further north suffix AMG.
With it, Lexus wants to compete with the most sporty sedans in the D-segment, where they have reigned for many years Audi RS6, BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG, and to the supporters of these to lead some buyer. Maybe that's why the Japanese are still a little hesitant about the performance data of the GS F model, since they haven't revealed the acceleration and top speed data yet.
