The sports utility coupe segment, in which the BMW X6 has reigned for many years, will reach a boiling point next year. In the fall, the Bavarian will be joined by a coupe version of the renewed Mercedes-Benz ML, which will be called the GLE coupe. This will offer better driving dynamics and the always standard 4matic drive and 9G-Tronic automatic.
Mercedes-Benz has announced a number of new models for next year, among which the brand new one will certainly stand out in terms of image GLE coupe. After the Bavarians recently launched the second generation of this model, whose sales success surprised everyone, they also wanted a piece of this market pie from Daimler.
The beginning of next year will be the segment of large prestigious SUVs, marked by the renewal of Mercedes' long-time flagship in this segment - of the ML model, which will be given a different name with the renovation, namely GLE. This will be followed in the autumn by the launch of the coupé, or in other words, the coupe SUC versions of this model, which will be given a coupe finish and will mix the fronts BMW X6.
Next year, the GLE family will be launched by the renewed ML, which will be renamed the GLE on this occasion, and in the fall it will also be joined by the coupe version of the GLE coupe. It will differ from the first mentioned in more coupe's rear and the roofline, which will begin to fall earlier and more steeply toward the rear. In addition to the GLE, the front part will be based on the current generation of the S class, or more precisely on its coupé version, which customers will see in showrooms immediately after the new year.
The passenger cabin will be practically identical to the one in the renewed ML, sorry GLE, which means a fresh design similar to the one in the current class with C, with an even greater emphasis on prestige. The central role on the center console will be occupied by a large tablet-like screen Comand infotainment system.

The GLE coupe will share the platform and many other components with the previously mentioned ML or GLE, but it will have a slightly more powerful suspension, and the steering mechanism and electronics will be tuned a little more sporty. They will also always be serial four-wheel drive 4matic and nine-speed 9G-tronic automatic transmission, except that the settings and operation of only these will differ according to the inscription of the version on the back.

At the inscription GLE 450 AMG sports coupe this will mean a twin-turbo is spinning in the nose 3.0-liter V6 with 270 kW and 520 Nm of torque, in which the dynamic select program for selecting the transmission function will also be part of the standard equipment, which will also be richer for the sport+ program. In this model, the drive will be divided from the "classic" 50:50, between the two wheel axles in a more dynamic ratio of 40:60, which should offer even more driving pleasure and the feeling of rear drive. This version will also be richer for AMG body kit, in the framework of which, in addition to the other "spoiler" ones, the serial ones will also be included 21-inch rims, and for an additional payment they will become an inch larger.
At launch, it will represent the base 3.0 liter V6 diesel engine with 190 kW and 620 Nm of torque that will power the variant SEE 350d, and in addition, customers will be able to choose a 3.0-liter V6 biturbo gasoline engine, which will be capable of 245 kW and 480 Nm of torque. Later, the offer will be enriched by a competitor to BMW's X6M, which will bear the name GLE 63 AMG high-performance, which will be from V8 engine drew power around 420 kW (570 hp).
