Forbes magazine has published a fresh list of the hundred most influential women in the world. Also in 2015, for the fifth year in a row, and for the ninth time in total, German Chancellor Angela Merkel came out on top, and this time American politician Hillary Clinton came closest to her. The list of women with the most power includes as many as 15 billionaires, mostly representatives of show business such as Oprah Winfrey and Beyoncé, while the youngest on the list is the 25-year-old American pop star Taylor Swift.

Eight of them are heads of state and monarchies, and 15 are billionaires. The latter amount to as much as 67.1 billion euros. Of these, the most influential woman in the world, the queen of talk shows, has a maximum of 12 under her thumb Oprah Winfrey with 2.75 billion euros in assets.
In addition to Swift, among the newcomers is the American Attorney General Loretta Lynch (34th place), EU foreign policy representative Federica Mogherini (36th place) and future editor-in-chief of The Guardian newspaper Katharine Viner (80th place).
