In the smallest car class, in addition to twinga, upa and ayga, we have a new player, in the form of the smallest Mitsubishi model space star, with which they are determined to fill the gap created by the colt's retirement. The design of the Mitsubishi space star is quite restrained, but it stands out in terms of spaciousness, agility, equipment and, last but not least, the price. These range from 8,490 to 9,990 euros.
Quite quietly and imperceptibly, Mitsubishi's new weapon v the smallest size class – Mitsubishi space star. Mitsubishi is determined to fill the gap with it after colt's departure, which in its time had many followers and consequently also customers on this side of the Alps. Although in terms of design, the models are almost nothing alike and it is also a space star 25 centimeters shorter, which should offer the same amount of space for five adults and their luggage.
Mitsubishi space star has a kind of typical Japanese exterior design and quite timeless classic. It does not give the observer enough concrete information whether it is a new vehicle or a model that has been on the market for several years, but we fear that the latter will prevail. At the same time, some LED daytime running lights would be of great help to him, which would keep the otherwise relatively large amount of chrome on the body company. 3.7 meters as far as it measures in length it undoubtedly belongs to segment A00, and at the same time it is accompanied by auspiciousness drag coefficient air C x 0.27, which together with the low weight of the vehicle, everything 845 kilograms (120 kg less as with colt) indicates good economy. It is always equipped with five doors, and vehicles for sale on the Slovenian market are decorated with a chrome package, where this material surrounds the fog lights, the front mask and the trunk lid.
Inside, the story of a timeless classic repeats itself with the exterior, as the gauges and dashboard are again restrainedly classic, there is a lot of plastic, and the modern year of manufacture is a witness piano black, which in various places joins the inserts made of imitation aluminum. In terms of space, first of all, the cabin is above average for the segment, second row is less than expected, but there is more space in the trunk than in most of the competition. The latter accepts in the basic layout 235 liters, passengers also have a shelf under the double floor and a rear bench that can be divided into thirds.
Three equipment packages are available to buyers: inform, nivite and intense, and all of them stand out in terms of richness compared to the class average. Basically, the buyer gets manual air conditioning, ESC and tire pressure sensor (law), audio device with connections for external devices (AUX, USB), remote central locking, trip computer and more. With the middle package, the wheels become an inch larger and alloyed, the air conditioning becomes automatic, the windows in the second row are additionally tinted, the passenger seat is also adjustable in height, and the buyer gets rain sensor and automatic lights. In the case of the richest intense package, the equipment also includes smart key and a button to start the vehicle, bluetooth, cruise control, leather steering wheel and shift lever (the first with buttons on the spokes) of this front fog light. With two richer packages, it is possible to come up with ideas without extra chargeand two-tone dashboard, which we highly recommend, as it helps a lot to break up the color monotony of the entire passenger cabin.
There are two engines, both three-cylinder gasoline. The weaker 1.0-liter develops 52 kW or 71 hp, and the stronger 1.2-liter develops 59 kW or 80 hp. Both are equipped as standard with a start&stop system, tires with low rolling resistance and an eco drive assist screen, which results in 92 and 100 grams of CO2 emissions, and the gearbox is always a five-speed manual.

Prices start at 8,490 euros, which is the price of the 1.0 inform version, followed by the 1.2 invite version, which the importer values at 9,290 euros, and you will have to shell out 9,990 euros for the most richly equipped 1.2 intense version. This year, the space star is expected to convince 120 buyers.
