Many people attribute their failure to bad luck. Instead, they should focus more on what to fix in their lives to live more happily. This time, the luckiest man in the world offers advice, so it's worth heeding it.
"If you learned how to ride a bicycle, you can also learn how to be happy," says the 67-year-old Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard, which is known as the happiest man in the world.
Matthieu was born into a wealthy French family of philosophers. Although he got a job as a molecular biologist at the Pasteur Institute after finishing his studies, he decided to move to The Himalayas, as he did not feel happy. He devoted his life there meditation.
They are here Ricardo's Life Lessons.
- Every individual can be happy if he only looks for happiness in the right place. The problem is that we rarely do.
- Happiness should not be equated with the endless pursuit of success. This will lead us to exhaustion.
- We all have the potential to live a happy life, so it should be used.
- In the desire for happiness, we must strive to achieve the set goals. In this way, we will always progress.
- We must get rid of hatred, obsession, arrogance, envy, greed and arrogance.
- We must learn to control our emotions. Negative emotions have a destructive effect.
- We devote 30 minutes of time a day to meditation. This will give us a better understanding of how our mind works.
