Germany it is not only a promised land for business and education, but also for families who want to spend quality time beyond their home borders. Potato holiday will be an ideal opportunity for such a thing, and Germany offers many "arrangements", regardless of your preferences. Here they are theme parks, indoor/interactive centers, adventure parks and zoos. We suggest you visit one of the water parks (Tropical Islands south of Berlin or Sea Life Adventure Park in Oberhausen), or an adventure with dinosaurs in Gondwana The Prehistoric World in Posar, and he will take care of the adrenaline rush karting center of ex-Formula 1 racer Ralf Schumacher, winding near Hamburg.
They are still here Zeiss Planetarium in Jena, yes Babelsberg Film Park in Potsdam and Europa-Park, which this year is also preparing a Halloween program that is second to none. If you like birds, the top choice is the bird park Walsrode Bird Park near Bremen, and if the weather is kind to you, we also recommend a visit to the cute park with otters Otterzentrum near Hannover, Phantasialand near Cologne and Tripsdrill Adventure Park in Cleebron near Stuttgart, which is one of Germany's oldest amusement parks for children.

Germany is not only about theme parks, but also the land of thousands of hiking trails and natural parks, and we have prepared for you selection of the best. Just like Slovenia, it is a hidden natural pearl, and its beauty extends further than the eye can see, as it "stretched" from the northern German coast all the way to the Alps in the south. It looks like 16 national parks, more than 100 natural parks and what 15 UNESCO biosphere reserves. We highly recommend the hiking trail Rheinsteig at Wiesbaden, which will take you past along the Rhine River romantic mansions and vines, or wandering through the Hainich National Park, where you can walk right through the treetops. If you are looking for panoramas, we suggest visiting the former volcanic landscape Eifel, Black Forest, alpine Allgäu and the largest German nature park Altmühltal. But we must not forget the fairy-tale rock formations of the landscape Saxon Switzerland and lush forests Thuringia, which are a kind of lungs of the heart of Germany.
If walking on solid ground isn't enough of a challenge for you, it's your choice climbing walk in Ruhr, where you step between closed blast furnaces. Even otherwise, this piece of Germany will impress you with its most unusual sights and sports activities rich industrial heritage but it is best to explore in the autumn sun on two wheels along the Ruhr River. For those who yearn for adrenaline, you will get your dose by visiting the attraction "indoor" wind tunnel in Parachute Center in Bottrop, where the first free fall simulator is located (for getting to know the feeling of flying), which is also suitable for beginners and the youngest.
If you want to stop the steel horse as quickly as possible for a quality vacation in Germany, then it is south-east of Bavaria, which is only a good 3 hours drive from Ljubljana, the place for you. Nature lovers will be in for a treat hiking and cycling trails of all difficulty levels could admire the mountain paradise of Bavaria, visit the only German national park in the Alpine world, take a boat ride along the picturesque Lake Königssee or take the mountain cable cars to the surrounding peaks and to the famous Eagle's Nest.
