The collaboration between NikeLab and sacai gave birth to the playful NikeLab x sacai womenswear collection for Spring/Summer 2015, where sporty fabrics were given a strong fashion twist. At a time when winter is finally saying goodbye and giving way to the increasingly awaited spring, the eight-piece collection embodies the fluidity of the seasons with its design.
NikeLab and I'm sorry, the brand of Japanese fashion designer Chitose Abe, are the inspiration for NikeLab x Sacai looked to Nike's running, tennis and football heritage and with fashionable accessories and playful design made sure that women's clothing maintain their comfort.
Their design includes comfortable and light fleece, designed with openings and linings that reveal the special lace. This was added by Nike and Abe as an embellishment that maintains a combination of femininity and a sporty aesthetic. They also work in a similar way ankle boots with a net on the swords. Style plissé with the amorphous structure of the fleece, it takes care of the feminine structure. It is only in movement that the opposite sports and fashion clothes get their true meaning - an edgy hybrid look worthy of both recreation and catwalks. A special edition running shoe has also been added Nikelab AirMax 90.
