The new electric racing car is expected to ensure the end of mid-race swaps, and the design itself is very different from the current cars in the Formula E championship.
New electrical design Formula E has personally incorporated so-called Halo protection, which resembles a saintly glow around the racer's head. The latter is a requirement of the International Automobile Federation FIA, and we will witness this in the championship as well Formula 1. The new race car also stands out big spoiler and front fenders, which are in the style of the LMP-1 drag racers. The whole image of Formula E works more aggressively and it is noticeable that the designers put a lot of effort into it aerodynamics. For now, only photos are available, because the official presentation of the racing car will be in in March at the international motor show in Geneva. Formula E will be powered by an engine with 335 horsepower, which is 67 horsepower more than the current model. The speed will increase from the current 225 km/h over 300 km/h.
The battle for the production of the racing car was won by Spark Racing Technologies, and this one will get energy from McLaren Batteries Applied Technologies. President of Formula E Alejandro Agag told the media that the racing car represents the future of racing and that it will be this new racing car brought a revolution to the world of motorsport. He is the president of the FIA Jean Todt added that we will definitely be impressed with the new racing cars, because they are futuristic and extremely advanced.
