Planetarium Ljubljana has opened on the Ajdovščina platform in Ljubljana, a unique hall for 30 people with a digital projection system, in which we can learn about space and astronomy. Under the white dome, content on astronomy, space and biology will be broadcast. The planetarium will remain at this location for at least two years. An open house will be held on October 21, 2016, followed by a premiere screening a day later.

Planetarium premiere will be a movie Rosetta, a projection about one of the most important space missions of our time, about the Rosetta probe, which during its twelve-year journey explored comet P67 and enabled a major contribution to space exploration. Planetarium Ljubljana is because of interesting lighting effects an attractive space for organizing events, which is why the project managers refer to it as scientific-cultural-entertainment center, where visitors can spend free time with family, friends, colleagues or business partners. In addition to the screenings, they will also be in the planetarium workshops and lectures. It will be open from Wednesday to Sunday between 12:00 and 20:00. The entrance fee for adults is 7.5 euros, for pupils, students and pensioners five euros, and for children up to the age of five the entrance is free.
