Tapioca is an easily digestible tropical food obtained by grinding or grating the starchy root tubers of cassava and washing out the starch, which is then boiled. Tapioca can be used to bake bread, make macaroni, thicken soup and prepare a delicious gluten-free pudding.
Recipe for a delicious tapioca pudding
Ingredients for Tapioca Pudding:
- 4 large spoons of tapioca balls
- 300 ml of water
- 400 ml of coconut milk
- ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of agave syrup
- fresh fruit of your choice
Preparation of tapioca pudding:
Pour water into the cooking pot and soak the tapioca balls in it. Cook over moderate heat until the balls have absorbed all the water. Add coconut milk and vanilla essence and cook for another 20 minutes. Stir the pudding constantly with a whisk while cooking. Add agave syrup to the pudding and pour it into cups.
