Before the Geneva Motor Show, Škoda revealed the image of the Škoda Vision S SUV concept, a plug-in hybrid with four-wheel drive that heralds the arrival of the production Kodiak SUV. It will go on sale in early 2017 and will enter the battle for buyers, which also competes for the Kia Sorento and Hyundai Santa Fe. The Vision S will be the first Czech model with an electric connection and two electric motors.
Too bad for 2017, it predicts the arrival of a big one Kodiak SUV, to make it easier for us to wait for it, she will present a concept SUV, Škoda, in Geneva Vision S. They hid a plug-in hybrid with four-wheel drive under the hood 1.4-liter supercharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, which has 225 hp (115 kW) and 250 Nm of torque, and 40 kilowatt electric motor. On the rear drive axle we also find another electric motor with 85 kilowatts of power. The system strength of Škoda Vision S is therefore 165 kW. The second electric motor, which is in charge of driving the rear pair of wheels, will be able to work completely independently of the gasoline-electric drive duo at the front, since there is no mechanical connection between the first and rear axles.
It also carries a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 12.4 kilowatt hours on the rear axle. Two clutches were used to transfer power to the wheels 6-speed DSG automatic transmission. With the electric drive, the Vision S is able to cover a distance of 50 kilometers, while the total autonomy of the concept SUV is around 1,000 kilometers. As with most hybrids, the driver can choose between 100% electric drive, hybrid and "classic" when only the four-cylinder gasoline engine is employed. Accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, and the final velocity is 200 km/h.

Škoda Vision S measures in length 4.7 meters, they measured 1.91 meters in width and 1.68 in height. We list inside six seats in three rows, which is a novelty for Škoda models.
