Smart recently announced product expansions. In 2017, its vehicle fleet will be richer by three Brabus models and the electric version of the Fortwo and Forfour models, which have been manufactured in the Slovenian Revoz for years. In Novi Mesto, they will also take over the production of the Smart Brabus Forfour, which, together with the other sports derivatives of the Smart Fortwo, Cabrio and Forfour models with the famous badge, premiered at the international motor show in Beijing.
Smart premiered at the Beijing International Motor Show a trio of Brabus-branded Smarts– Fortwo, Cabrio and Forfour-Smarts, which "'ate spinach'" and, like Popeye, got more power and more muscular or sporty look (larger - 16 or 17-inch - aluminum wheels, sports exhausts with a double tailpipe finish, etc.), and the more attractive look has spilled over into the passenger cabin, which boasts with leather seats for better grip, quilted reinforcement and sports steering wheel.

Smart Brabus will be around 20 percent more powerful engine than a stock turbo engine, which in numbers means it will power it 0.9-liter V3 engine with 107 hp (80 kW) and 170 Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to the wheels by a dual-clutch 6-speed automatic transmission Twinamic, whose gear ratios have been adjusted in favor of a sporty temperament. A hundred falls after 9.5 seconds, but it can accelerate up to 180 km/h (model Fortwo). They put more powerful brakes on it and improved the chassis.
In Revoz, the existing range of cars on the assembly line will be joined by Brabus new generation Renault Clio, and in 2017 the aforementioned electric versions of the Smart Fortwo and Forfour models. Brabus is coming to the European market July 2016.
