Subaru levrog - Subaru soon to new European customers

Subaru Levorg

The Japanese Mercedes, as connoisseurs call the Subaru brand, held the European premiere of the new Subaru Levorg model in Geneva, which is basically an Impreza station wagon. In addition to a dynamic image and the always standard AWD four-wheel drive, Subaru's new representative of the C-segment also brings exemplary driving dynamics and a spacious interior.

Subaru levrog complements the Japanese model range four-wheel drive specialist it always counts somewhere between four and five models and versions, and in the future this number could increase slightly. The first innovation that will find its way to most European markets in the coming months is levorg model. A case of C-segment sports wagon, which relies on the current generation five-door impreza, which so far, due to non-competitive prices, has not yet found its way.

From the side, it is very similar to the current Legacy, while the front part has a more modern Impreza look.

In terms of dimensions, the levorg can best be compared with, also among segments, the "protruding" Škoda Octavia, to which the dimensions of the levorg are closest, which measures 4.69 meters in length, while the meter shows 1,780 meters in width. Wheelbase at the same time, it amounts to concrete ones 2.65 meters, which promises an above-average spacious interior, and the view, especially in the second row of seats, also confirms this.

Levorg when it hits showrooms and roads in the autumn, it will be available with one of the direct-injection turbo petrols, where the size version 1.6-liter produced 125 kW or 170 hp, which, on average, should settle for only 5.7 liters of fuel, two liter and will develop as much as 221 kW or 300 hp, which means almost a record 150 hp per liter of volume.

The interior is most similar to the one in the current XV or in the renewed Outback, which, like the Levorg, premiered at the beginning of the month in Geneva.

The special feature of the model will also be the system for selecting the driving dynamics mode called SI-Drive mode selector, which has so far been reserved only for models with the STi mark on the body, and depending on the equipment version, the equipment will also include: full LED lights, set of assistance systems eye sight, ambient lighting in the passenger cabin, a smart key and a button to start the engine, as many as four USB sockets (two in the front, two in the second row) and we could go on and on.

For now, the 2.0-liter diesel engine remains in question, which is currently by far the most desirable among Subaru's European customers, but it would certainly be the same with the Levorg. Maybe we can expect that the 221 kW gasoline engine will still be replaced in the end the only boxer design diesel engine, which develops 110 kW. Let us be surprised.
