Toyota has introduced a new generation of vehicles that will have a special off-road Toyota modification. The abbreviation TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development, where already powerful off-road vehicles are improved to perform even better on challenging terrain.
Any adventurer who has ever ventured into wild terrain with a car knows that their car is only as good as its chassis in those demanding conditions. 2019 generation TRD Pro rides on 2.5-inch TRD Pro exclusive FOX dampers. These provide additional comfort on a flat road, and in extreme off-road conditions, shock absorbers are responsible for easier overcoming of natural obstacles. Accordingly, the interior is also comfortable where it is navigation built-in as standard, and even leather upholstery is available. The models received field finishing and conversions 4Runner, Tacoma and Tundra, which unfortunately we will not see very often on our roads. The TRD Pro series will be limited to only po 5,000 cars of a certain model, that is, in total 15,000 more off-road capable Toyotas. You can think of them in white color Super White, black color Midnight Black Metallic or in the exclusive TRD Voodoo Blue color.
At Toyota, they noticed that many customers installed the so-called "snorkel". For this reason, they decided to offer the conversion already at the factory. This must be ordered before the car is built, as a hole must be made through the fender. The air supply to the engine is thus direct, and the car works even more off-road when we have an air intake next to the windshield. The "snorkel" prevents dust and debris from reaching the engine. Toyota TRD Pro do well on rocky terrain, and they are even more adapted to fast driving on desert or sandy terrain.
