Pulse: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Ljubljana 2015: a week of fashion & sensory indulgence

With the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, Ljubljana enters the world map of fashion weeks and, with the innovative approach of the creators, offers "fashionistas" a four-day pampering of sensory sensations, production surpluses and creative thinking. MBFWLJ was not just a summation of various fashion events, but finds its dimension in a series of lectures, round tables and social events, where ties were intertwined with the design, production and marketing of creators.

Four days fashion heaven on earth (read: in Ljubljana) offered new dimensions to fashion & design lovers. Under the tutelage of a fashion guru & art director Saša Radoviča are teams fashion designers, stylists, makeup artists, hairdressers and choreographers offered visitors sensory experiences of various forms and thus created fashion travel. The central scene of the action, Cankar's home, offered a great opportunity for fashion installations that went outside the box of what had already been seen, but were complemented by classic fashion magazines. The artistic note and atmosphere were complemented by exceptional video projections and the fashion's own and always different musical background.

Because this type of event must always be seasoned with a bit of competition, the prestigious prize was awarded Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Award, which went into the hands of the jury after "considerable consideration". Sara Valenci for her outstanding clothing collection.

MBFWLJ in addition to an insight into the fashion future, he offered visitors a spectacular journey into the world of industrial design with the lecture "Unexpected Moments" by the head of car exterior design at Mercedes-BenzRobert Lešnik. Thus, we were able to look into the future of this car brand through the eyes of one of its creators.

We were also able to listen to the guests of the round table Kick-Ass-Thetics, which she sovereignly led Vesna Milek, and watched screenings of two fashion films, which were free for visitors.

We witnessed an extraordinary multimedia fashion installation by a man from Belgrade Marko Mitanovski, who impressed all viewers with his story "The Other Face of Reality". He put his collection on display, which he already presented at this year's Spring Fashion Week in London. Geometric shapes, inspiration of mythical creatures and textures of natural elements were the main inspiration for her.

For ending MBFWLJ and they served us 10 aesthetically perfect ones fashion magazines already well-established fashion designers or brands: Akultura, Anja Dragan, Petja Zorec, Madame Demode, Mêhlê, Nataša Hrupič, Dioralop, Verena Schepperheyn, Dajana Ljubičić and Peter Movrin.

The successful christening performance of the fashion week predicts its continuation already next spring, which "fashionistas" are extremely looking forward to.
