The Volvo V60 is the latest family wagon on the market, with all the features you'd expect from a Volvo. Scandinavian design, advanced safety technology and concern for passenger comfort are attributes that are sure to convince. At first glance, the new V60 is significantly better than its predecessor.
New ones Volvo V60 is slightly longer and lower, additional 13 centimeters but it is known mainly in the passenger cabin. We have available more space for the knees as in the previous Volvo V70 and even more knee room in the whole class. The added centimeters are also known for the luggage space, which we now have available for 529 liters, which is again best in class and by almost 100 liters more as with the previous model.
The reborn and clean Scandinavian design of the new generation of Volvo cars can also be admired in the V60 model. The family station wagon is not 'boxy' as it is without sharp edges and a far cry from what station wagon Volvos have been in the past. The roof remains in the rear of the car straight, which means better efficiency luggage compartment. It ends with a spoiler that adds a design finish as well as contributing to the aerodynamics and consequently k lower fuel consumption. The front headlights are in LED-technology with the already familiar Tor's hammer, and the last light is placed upright and likewise with LED-technology. Rims are available in sizes from 16 to 20 inches and 13 colors bodies, among which they predominate darker shades of colors.
The interior of the Volvo V60 is intertwined modern design and simple transparency infotainment system with 9-inch screen. The V60 enables smartphone connectivity and a high level of individual settings. Superior sound system Bowers & Wilkins take care of superb spatial sound, and with that the V60 is again better from competitors in the class. Systems take care of security the latest generations, which we have already seen in the cars of the series 90 and at the safest car of 2017 according to the NCAP-tests of the SUV XC60. At the start of sales, the Volvo V60 is available with a petrol turbine T6 motor with 313 horsepower and diesel D3 with 150 horsepower and D4 with 190 horsepower. All mentioned motors can be combined with four-wheeled drive. Later, two more plug-in hybrids will join the offer, T6 Twin with 340 horsepower and T8 Twin with 390 horsepower.
