The last few years, ever since the beginning of what we call the crisis, is International Young Lions Festival every year strongly reflected engagement, concern, search for solutions, anxiety, utopias, dystopias of artists... The artistic field was also a field of search for breakthrough tactics - to new solutions, to utopias, to changes in the socio-political system, search for tactics of economic survival... In this year's program but someone shows up new courage and optimism, as if the theater had gone back to great themes, great dramas, to passion, to characters from the Greek divine chorus, to partisan art and to the noblest distance: humor.

The festival will be opened with an exceptional performance What if they went to Moscow based on the motifs of Chech's Three Sisters, for which the Brazilian team and director Christiane Jatahy with the fusion of Russian and Brazilian passion breathed a completely new life. Instead of melancholy, the play is full of tenderness and life's sle. The performance is double, it takes place on stage at the same time, and another group of spectators follows the film, which is created live from the events on stage and backstage. By watching both – the play and the film – the viewer gets an insight into all the layers of the action.
Among the guest artists announced are: Fragan Gehlker & Alexis Auffray, Ivo Dimchev, Benjamin Verdonck, Andrew Schneider, Nina Jan & Urša Sekirnik, Motus, Jure Novak & Uroš Buh and others.
