Bled days are those days when Bled is crowded with tourists. During the three days that they last, they come to see how the products of domestic and artistic crafts are made, and to listen to concerts on the promenade. Most of them, of course, gather on the traditional Bled night, when the lake 'glows up'. Bled Days 2017 will take place from July 21 to 23, and the cuisine at the event will be designed by Bled's local partners under the destination brand Okusi Bled.
Bled days 2017 they will make sure that it will be this year as well Lake Bled glowed again. Volunteers in boats will lay around on the lake surface 15 thousand lights in eggshells, which are traditionally prepared by a local Andrej Vidic. He makes them in a few months, and the eggshells are supplied to him by the confectionary Zima in Bled, where they carefully separate the eggshells. Culinary at the event will be designed by local partners from Bled under the destination brand Tastes of Bled. The creative offer, which originates from the wealth of local dishes, will be presented at the Bled Days. All three days will be available to visitors to the event in Bled traditional local specialties, prepared from fresh, seasonal ingredients, presented in a 'street food' way, and they paid special attention to the presentation sustainable components.
