It will take place in Ljubljana's Križanke June 24, 2016 held an event dedicated to tradition and modern creativity in the field of Idrija lace. Within of the OIDFA International Congress, which is attended every two years by fiddlers from 37 countries around the world, Idrija will organize A lace fashion spectacle in Ljubljana, at which renowned Slovenian fashion designers and NTF fashion design students will present their wonderful creations with Idrija lace.
The Idrija lace, among other things, represents the Slovenian identity. Nowadays, it is gaining ground in the fashion world. It is an integral part of clothing for all occasions. At past lace spectacles of this kind, the designers have already proven with their fashion pieces that lace in traditional or modern form can fulfill the demanding wishes of individuals and the requirements of high fashion without any problem.
