At the beginning of the 90s, an aspiring young man was faced with the fact that he had to either find a job or surrender to his musical passions and do something. He chose the latter. In 1992, he is with a friend Ant Miles founded the RAM label, which is still famous for its perfectly polished drum'n'bass products and could easily be called a real drum and bass institution.
Andy C grew up with drum'n'bass along with RAM. At the end of the nineties, when the development of broken rhythms was in full swing, the scene had its own DJs, producers, labels, promoters - it was in a way a culture within a culture, Andy C recalled in one of the interviews.Whatever trend appeared, drum'n'bass always went hand in hand with it,” he said, and it was true. Whatever and whoever came up with a fresh idea was quickly part of this electrifying music. Andy C penetrated into the heart of drum'n'bass with pompous productions such as Untitled s Shimon or Sound Control with Randall or Valley of The Shadows, with which Andy C actually started to make a name for himself. In the sets that filled clubs around the world, he introduced all possible subgenres, whatever you could imagine, he provided a real "night life" (Nightlife). In addition to numerous musical projects that have brought the pioneer of this incredible genre of music various awards and titles such as the best DJ, Andy C is famous for his unique mixes titled Nightlife. The first was published in 2002, and the last, the sixth, in 2013.
A respected producer and DJ who has no equal among his peers, he is today one of the biggest role models and inspirations for many big names in drum'n'bass.
