The band that embodies the concept of rap-metal is returning to Ljubljana - the Los Angeles collective Body Count, which was founded a few decades ago by the crazy rapper Ice T with his comrades. We will be able to attend the Body Count feat Ice-T concert on Sunday, June 7 2015, at 9 p.m. in Ljubljana's Križanke.
The cast of Body Count, which has already replaced most of its members (some died of illness, others as victims of gang fights), recorded the infamous Copkiller EP in the early nineties, and finally conquered the world with two albums Body Count and Born Dead. The band has written itself into the hearts of many because of its picky, brutal and bold lyrics (which, among other things, sing of revenge against the police in the cruelest way and tell about life in one of the cruelest parts of LA, South Central), fast rhythms and greasy riffs. With the album Violent Demise: The Last Days they may have shown a slightly more everyday, calmer face, but still just the right Body Count to leave us speechless. The band, which has never made compromises and has gained unprecedented respect from both enemies and followers over the years, is coming back this year (we could see Body Count in Slovenia for the first time in 1997) with the album Manslaughter, which we will be able to hear live on the 7th. June 2015 in Ljubljana's Križanke.
