It seems that our country will only come to life in the concerts of big musical names. The pre-holiday atmosphere in December will be even more lively, magical and well seasoned this year with the rock ballads of the charming eternally young rocker Bryan Adams, who will resonate in Ljubljana's Stožice. So don't miss the mega concert and take part in the raffle for a ticket.
Bryan Adams he's one of those rockers who never gets old before our eyes. They remain mature, charming, young at heart, although with some gray hair or a wrinkle more. The Canadian singer, author, guitarist, social activist and photographer began paving his musical path in the mid-seventies and the fact that he worked as a dishwasher at the age of 14 to earn money to buy a guitar proves that he developed a passion for music at an early age. But you have to fight for success.
The American public got to know him in more detail only in 1983, when he drew attention to himself with his the third album Cuts Like a Knife, with the following by Reckless, which was hailed by the media and critics as one of the best of the 1980s, broke into the world and even earned a Grammy nomination.
The effort paid off. Adams enjoyed writing and creating songs, regularly rewarding his fans and listeners with full-length releases. He especially moved the ladies with to the excellent single (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, which sold more than three million copies like hot cakes across the pond, and it also brought the musician a nomination for a Golden Globe and an Oscar, as he wrote the song for movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The singles that followed only further justified his rocker reputation with a unique ear for more subdued ballads.
Even today, after 34 years of his extremely successful musical career, he conquers both old and young with his somewhat hoarse voice. He will be on our stage for the fourth time, this time in Ljubljana's Stožice.
