On the last day of the year, Kinodvor is preparing a big New Year's Eve preview of the movie Mr. Turner. The biographical film, which will be shown regularly from January 1, will take us through the last 25 years of the life of one of the greatest and most eccentric English artists of all time: Joseph Mallord William Turner.
We can end the last day of the year with the New Year's pre-premiere in Kinodvor, a film Mr. Turner, which was already on display at this year's Liff. Joseph Mallord William Turner (1775-1851) was an English painter of romantic landscapes who had himself tied to the mast of a ship in order to better paint a snowstorm.
