The Slovenian musical Vesna, based on František Čapa's film of the same name, will come to our stage on June 7, 2017. We will be able to see the premiere in Križanke as part of the Ljubljana Festival. The team promises an unforgettable spectacle that you will want to see again and again.

In the spring, when the sun's rays become mischievous, when nature dresses up in seductive colors and smells of love, high school graduates must put their noses between book covers, prepare for the great test of knowledge and maturity, and forget about all the beauties that flourish outside. A our three heroes they are convinced that the easier way leads to success. They think of a shortcut that will take them hyperbole, the daughter of a strict math professor Cosine. To win Hyperbola's heart and get the pole for the big test is the formula they put together, but what happens when the smart heads insert the wrong unknown into it. The girl who shows up on a date is not who they thought was the professor's daughter. And what follows this sweet blunder is the thread from which the story of the first Slovenian film romantic comedy, from which the musical Vesna was adapted, was woven.

The musical was created by an experienced creative team that staged a big hit on Slovenian stages three years ago Flowers in autumn, author of music Matjaž Vlašič, the director Vojko Anzeljc, librettist Janez Usenik, choreographer Miha Krušič and producer Gorazd Slak. The musical Vesna will premiere on Wednesday, June 7, in Ljubljana's Križanke. For visitors, Vesna prepares a baptism performance a very special gift. The one that Samo, Kristof and Sandi wanted so much that they went under her window to play a serenade. They will also be waiting for visitors in the auditorium this year's high school graduation.
