Tadej Skrbiš has been "skating" for more than ten years. This is where he came up with the idea of Fingerbear fingerboards. Last year, he applied to the Entrepreneurial World of Entrepreneurship project, they liked his idea of finger skateboards, and that's how his business journey began to develop. Fingerbear fingerboards are handmade from wood and each one is unique.
What is fingerboarding anyway? It is therefore the best realistic simulation of "skateboarding" that exists - even here it is necessary to invest a lot of effort and concentration to perform tricks. The only difference is that maneuvers are performed with the hand instead of the foot, usually with two fingers, as in skateboarding. Abroad, this sport is very developed, they have more than a hundred competitions annually. And the goal of Tadej Skrbiš is to bring this interesting sport and hobby closer to Slovenian youth and the young at heart.
Fingerbears fingerboards are made of wood - each board is specially handmade and unique. The manufacture of wooden boards follows the same principle as for ordinary skateboards, the only difference is in the size of the tools, materials and devices. So it is more fine and precise work.
There are already four riders from Slovenia on the Fingerbear team. It is still in the plan sponsoring some young, talented people from the local area, as well as from abroad. Recently, the Fingerbear team put fingerskate park in Urban Roof in Ljubljana, where we can test our finger skills ourselves. Fingerbear skateboards and ramps are also available there for sale. The products will soon also be available in Extensive shop in Ljubljana.
The prices of Fingerbear skateboards (kits) vary from 30 euros to 38 euros. They can be ordered on the team's website Fingerbear.
Tadej's only wish is to be able to present himself on the world market with his team and become a real competitor to the global fingerboard companies with his unique products.
