At the end of September, the horror movie Mother is coming to the big screen. (Mother!, 2017) by director Darren Aronofsky, who, despite his youth, impressed with most of the films created under his direction.
His debut feature brought him fame before he turned 30 Pi (1998), now a cult film about a young mathematical genius, for which the American Independent Film Festival in Sundance won an award for directing. It was followed by an even more iconic one today Requiem for a dream (Requiem for a Dream, 1999), a visually hypnotic and shocking depiction of addiction of all kinds. Almost a decade later, he surprised with To wrestlers (The Wrestler, 2008), a visually calm, realistic and poignant drama that brought him a win at the prestigious Venice Film Festival, and in 2010 with the poignant story of a ballerina obsessed with her dance career black Swan (Black Swan, 2010).
Next fall, he returns as a director, screenwriter and producer scary Mother!, in which a love relationship will be put to the test. When uninvited guests enter the couple's home and threaten their peaceful life, strange events ensue. The two Oscar winners will appear as a couple in the main roles Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem, for the creepy plot in the psychological thriller about love, devotion and sacrifice, this time they will take care Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris.

The film will have its world premiere September 15 on Venice Film Festival, and we will be able to watch it in our cinemas from September 28.
