The film Pete's Dragon is a remake of Disney's cult classic Pete's Dragon, starring Robert Redford (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Sting), Oakes Fegley (This is Where I Leave You), Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games), Karl Urban (Star Trek) , Oona Laurence (Southpaw) and Bryce Dallas Howard, the star of Jurassic World, who this time looks into the eyes of a dragon instead of a dinosaur. Pete's Dragon is a film about a boy who develops a friendship with a dragon while growing up in the forest.
The movie Pete's Dragon is a remake of the same name Disney classics from 1977, in which they performed Mickey Rooney, Shelley Winters and a young Sean Marshall in the title role of Pete, orphans, who managed to survive in the forest because of friendship with the invisible dragon Elliot.

He is later adopted by Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), whose father (Robert Redford), who is a local forest ranger, has been delighting children for years with stories about a mysterious dragon that lives in the wild and closely resembles the dragon described by Pete. Grace decides to find out where her "son" comes from, and as a result, too the truth about the dragon.
