The Night Before is neither a 1988 movie nor a Beatles song. It is a film coming out at the end of 2015 from the creators who gave us Neighbors and "almost" The Killer Interview, so it should be pretty clear what kind of comedy it is. Especially if we add to that that it stars Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie as a trio of best friends who have spent the last 14 Christmases together. But in the meantime, the boys have grown up and decided that the fifteenth Christmas will be their last together.
Last time we looked at the calendar and out the window it was still August and summer was in full swing so maybe someone should say Sony Pictures, that we are not yet ready for Christmas movies. But not exactly the ideal "timing" for a movie trailer The Night Before it's not to be faulted, and neither is the cliche Christmas theme, as it's more of a Christmas movie type "The Hangover" like a classic family movie.
He signed under comedy Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm Bodies), and Christmas antics enriched with alcohol and cocaine will Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt (they already created the film 50/50 together with the director) and Anthony Mackey (Captain America: The Winter Soldier). But as is typical for Rogen's comedies, this one is a hoot student humor they hide a soft heart, so you can laugh to your heart's content at forums on the topic of farts, etc., because it is much more than just situation comedy.
