"He who believes he can can; he who doesn't believe he can can't! This is an indisputable law!" - Henry Ford
"Failure is an inevitable part of success. It could be the beginning of a new path. In order for a child to learn to walk, he has to fall many times. Failure is also an indicator of the success we strive for. When a pole vaulter is beaten by the competition, the height of the jump shows his progress. This failure becomes the starting point of his training, where he tries to prove that the current failure is not necessarily final!” – Dave Anderson
1. You are stronger than you think
All the falls in life will show you how strong you really are. They will direct you to think. You will dig deep within yourself and find that inner strength you didn't think you had. Even if you think you've hit rock bottom, eventually you come to the realization that it can only go higher and higher from there.
2. Have strong faith
Faith is the belief that something is possible without actually seeing or experiencing it. It is the confidence that you will overcome all the problems that are in your life, even if the current reality does not reflect this. Your mindset is everything. You attract what you think, so training your mind or choosing to think positively will have a huge impact on your emotions, well-being and overall productivity. Slowly but surely, you will notice how life will begin to change, and then you will be able to observe all the good things coming into your life.
3. Take care of your mental health
Sometimes failure is something you think you can do, but you haven't been successful. This alone can subconsciously affect your mental health. Take time for yourself. Do things that make you happy. Surround yourself with people you can trust and talk to.
4. There is nothing wrong with crying
Or scream. You yell. You are broken. Wounded. Failure can be quite a traumatic experience depending on the situation/circumstance/person. You will often try to hide your emotions and put on a mask of a smile on your face and pretend that you are fine. It's not healthy to build up your emotions. Allow yourself to feel what you feel and honor your feelings. Only then can you release them.
5. You are not alone
If you experience failure, you can feel lonely and isolated from the rest of the world, especially when you see other people showing how successful and happy they are in different ways. But that's usually not the case. Most people don't talk about their failures until they reach the other side - success. But know that everyone has failed in something at some point in their life and that there is no such thing as overnight success.
6. Never forget how far you've come
Success has the power to make you forget everything you have already achieved in life. It can make you feel worthless and doubt your ability to ever be successful. But that is absolutely not true. Remember how hard you worked for your past achievements. If you fail at something, remember them.
7. Don't compare your journey to others
No one can achieve all things at once. If you compare yourself to others, you put pressure on yourself. Let's say if you achieve x, y, and z by a certain age, it makes you feel like a failure. But – you didn't. Simply follow your path and you will achieve everything you desire in your own time. Don't rush to success, go slow. Everything happens at the right time.
8. You will be successful and define your own version of success
Everyone has their own version of success. What is success for one person may be failure for another. Remember that your success is your personal success and that you can and will achieve anything you want in life when the time comes.
9. Everything will be fine
Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow. But one day. Never give up on yourself or your dreams because you will get through whatever you are going through right now.
10. Failure does not define you
You are more than your mistakes. You are worthy of love and success. Never forget that.
