Julie is a blogger who wants to write about recipes from Julie Child's book every day, the writer who introduced complicated French recipes to American housewives in the middle of the last century and thus marked the American kitchen. The story is an interweaving of the two main actresses, who each approach life in their own way, but have a common point. The movie will definitely entertain you.
Big Miracle (2012)
In the sea near a village in Alaska, a dramatic and romantic story of saving whales takes place. The largest animals in the world are trapped under the thickness of the ice and cannot swim out into the open sea. A Greenpeace volunteer, played by Drew Barrymore, is called by her ex-boyfriend, a journalist, to participate in a rescue operation. The story will warm our hearts, as it shows the beautiful side of humanity in a rather unsweetened way.
Farewell, Lenin! (Goodbye, Lenin; 2003)
1978 was the time when the whole of East Germany wanted to flee to the West, or at least to space. Rather, it was a time when it was easier for East Germans to escape to space than to the West. Little Alex Kerner (Daniel Bruehl) wants, like most East German boys at the time, to become an astronaut. Their role model was Sigmund Jahn, the first German cosmonaut who flew into space with Soyuz 31. Cute, fun story.
The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2011)
A group of British retirees decide to spend their golden years in exotic India. A seductive tourist brochure leads them to the Marigold Hotel, which turns out to be only a pale shadow of its former glory. A mix of comedy, drama and romance, enhanced by a dream cast of veteran English actors, it tells us that it's never too late for a fresh start.
Lapland Odyssey (2010)
A comical story about Janne, a man from Lapland, who is fed up with his girlfriend, Inari, because he is quite unable to live an orderly life. Even when Inari gives him money to buy a digital TV receiver, he fails. The girl is upset and Janne is given an ultimatum: the receiver must be home by morning or he will be left without her. Janne goes on a fun adventure with two friends.
Rum Diary (2011)
When future freelance journalist and unconventional writer Hunter S. Thompson finished serving in the Air Force in 1960, he immediately moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico. For a short time he wrote for the sports magazine El Sportivo, which was soon discontinued. He struggled to get a job at the San Juan Star newspaper. His experiences there and the people he met inspired him to write the novel The Rum Diary.

Despicable me (2010)

Finally, he decides to steal Luna, and he wants to use the three orphans to incapacitate his rival. But the cute little girls grow fond of the bastards, which causes Gru to have a lot of strange and painfully funny adventures.
The Guard (2011)
Nervous police officer Gerry deals with crime in a small Irish town according to his own rules, and because of his quarrelsomeness and unusual sense of humor, he causes a lot of problems himself. While investigating a mysterious murder, Gerry becomes entangled in a network of international drug smugglers, extortionists and murderers. Additional headaches are caused by regular FBI agent Wendell, with whom he has to cooperate in the investigation, but their different understanding of law enforcement leads to many amusing disputes and confusions.
City Island (2009)
