If you recognize your partner in most of the points below, then it may be time to consider whether this relationship is good enough for you.

Think you've met a prince on a white horse? Is everything too perfect to be true? Is that tiny voice in your head whispering that all is not well and that things are moving too fast? According to psychologist Martha Stout, author of The Sociopath Next Door, it is four percent of people are sociopaths. In other words, four out of a hundred, or one person out of 25, are sociopaths. Maybe he is with you too? Pay attention to these 12 characters and see if you might have gotten involved in the love sociopathic cycle!

1. He is CHARMING

A sociopath is extremely charming and usually very charismatic. He is the center of attention wherever he appears.

2. He is ATTRACTIVE

He is sexually attractive and knows it.

3. He tells IMMEDIATELY "I love you"

The relationship develops at breakneck speed. An engagement. A wedding.

4. He is ATTENTIVE

He gives you a lot of suffocating attention – calls constantly, emails, texts, buys gifts.

5. It binds you to itself

He knows he can't hide his identity for long, so he'll try everything to get you to bond with him before you overlook him and walk away.

6. He pretends to be a VICTIM.

He blames others for all his mistakes: for childhood scars, problems at work, in relationships, with money, etc.

7. He has a huge EGO

He only sees himself. His most common word is ME.

He has a huge ego.
He has a huge ego.

8. COLD and intense LOOK

They say the eyes are the windows to the soul; it's a great place to spot something wrong.

9. Pathological LIAR and manipulator

He lies about everything. Lying is his way of life. If caught in a lie, he shows no remorse.

10. He is ALWAYS RIGHT

He feels no guilt when he cheats, lies, or hurts someone he loves.
Regret is not part of his genetic makeup. He only cares about what he wants.

He's always right.
He's always right.

11. Is Dr. JEKYLL and Mr. HYDE

You are dealing with two very different people: the charming man you met and fell in love with, and the cruel, lying, manipulative, emotionless man.

12. BREAKS THE RULES

He knows what the law is and that he's breaking it, and he doesn't care.

Five stages of the love "sociopathic cycle"

Phase 1: Everything is wonderful. Both are in a euphoric state, with great sex, romance; everything is perfect.
Phase 2: He is afraid of losing you or disappointing you.
3rd phase: At some event, anger is triggered in him. He becomes aggressive.
4th stage: He regrets the event, apologizes, but at the same time denies the act, promises that it will never happen again.
5th stage: The relationship returns to a loving romantic relationship, the incident is forgotten until the cycle repeats itself.

You can't influence a sociopath's behavior, it's not even your job. This is your life. Live it without him by your side.
