The winter ski resorts in the European Alps and Dolomites are legendary, not only for their excellent skiing, but also for their Alpine villages and resort towns. In the mountains of Italy, France, Switzerland and Austria you will find some of the best ski resorts in the world.

2. Zermatt, Switzerland
