It has become a beautifully designed and attractive car, joined by modern hybrid engines and the promise of an affordable price. Best equipped with 4×4 drive namely, it will be under 30,000 euros and thus, in all probability, a bestseller. If she manages to get too 5 NCAP stars, we can declare the Duster one of the best cars of this year.

The only thing that is certain is that this Toyota will receive the title of the best off-road vehicle in the world. The real title will be given to it by buyers on the "black" continent, where it is the only brand that can keep up with the conditions.
Toyota Land Cruiser 2024 je entered the car market with a new model that combines tradition and modernity. It boasts advanced technologies, a robust design and improved driving characteristics. It is built on the GA-F platform with a body on frame that improves rigidity, responsiveness and ride comfort. The model, which will be available in Europe, has a 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine with a power of 204 horsepower and a new 8-speed automatic transmission. The exterior is robust and functional, with reduced overhangs and sculpted corners for improved off-road handling. The vehicle attracts with an affordable starting price of 39,500 euros for the model with a 75 kWh battery. The design of the Ocean combines elegance and robustness, with a rotating 17.1-inch center screen. A special feature of the model is the roof panel, which opens at the push of a button, creating a feeling of "openness" similar to convertibles. The Fisker Ocean provides a range of up to 500 kilometers with a 106.0 kWh battery and advanced safety systems such as automatic emergency braking and blind spot monitoring. The battery with a capacity of 13.6 kilowatt hours enables up to 100 kilometers of electric driving, which is 50 % more compared to the current generation. The interior of the car is spacious and stylish, with a 7-inch TFT LCD screen in the driver's field of vision. Despite the aesthetic changes and advanced technology, the Prius remains true to its original philosophy of a hybrid vehicle, practically invented by Toyota.
Volvo EX30

It retains its upright and boxy shape with features such as flared wheel arches and round headlights. It is designed for use on challenging terrain, with a 36-degree entry angle and 210 mm ground clearance. The interior is more spacious, with a larger luggage capacity and modern technological accessories, such as a 9-inch infotainment system and a reversing camera. It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a mild hybrid system and offers both manual and automatic transmissions. We couldn't miss this car in the list of the best cars of 2023.
BMW XM
BMW seems to have forgotten about making cars lately, but then the BMW XM comes along and you realize they still know how to make a really special car. That's also why we put this car on our list. Because it's proof that BMW can still do it.
BMW XM Label Red, limited edition BMW M GmbH, is the brand's first high-performance SUV that combines hybrid power and exclusive design. With its revolutionary M HYBRID system, which combines a V8 gasoline engine and an electric motor, it reaches 750 hp and 1000 Nm of torque, enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 305 km/h. The electric motor independently propels the vehicle up to 130 km/h and enables a range of 50 km per charge. With advanced systems such as M xDrive and M Sport differential, it ensures optimal grip and agility. The interior includes luxury features such as heated seatbacks and a surround sound system. With a limited edition of 500 vehicles and an expected price of over 160,000 euros, the BMW XM Label Red represents the pinnacle of high-performance hybrid vehicles.
NIO EC7
Practically any model of the brand could be included in this list NIO, because it evokes very European feelings in me and is nothing like a "Chinese" car. That's also why I'm a model NIO EC7 placed on this list, because in my opinion, it is the only serious competitor, for example Tesla Model Y. Its serious problem, however, will definitely be the "price", which will not be anything "Chinese".
NIO EC7, billed as the world's most aerodynamic SUV, is a Chinese electric SUV that combines elegant design with advanced features. It has a coupé design with a low drag coefficient (0.23), which contributes to its aerodynamics. Under the hood, the EC7 has a dual electric drive that produces 644 horsepower and 850 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. It is available with 75 kWh, 100 kWh and 150 kWh battery packs, which enable a range of 490 to 940 km. Nio is taking pre-orders for the EC7 in China, with the base model expected to be priced at $70,100, with the EC7 coming to Europe next year.
BMW 5 Series – 2024
BMW 5 series, a 2024 model, may not be the prettiest or most aerodynamic BMW of all time, but it remains the key car that marked this year. Zeekr 001
And finally the letter Z – Zeekr. The brand, which borrows its DNA from Swedish design and then cleverly packs it into Chinese technology, is one of those Chinese cars that predicts the Chinese will take the lead in the automotive industry very soon. Europe could become poor if it fails to consolidate and start thinking differently. Let's see.
The Zeekr 001, the brand's electric car that belongs to the Geely Automotive Group, offers one of the longest ranges among mass-produced electric vehicles. With a battery capacity of 140 kWh, it enables a range of more than 1,000 kilometers. The model is available with batteries of different capacities: the basic model with 86 kWh enables 546 km, the medium model with 100 kWh up to 741 km and the largest with 140 kWh up to 1,032 km of range. The interior includes a 14.7-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument display. In Germany, you can order it from 59,000 euros. But that's not all. Zeekr also has the Zeekr 001 FR version, which represents a new milestone in electric vehicles, surpassing even the Tesla Model S Plaid in terms of performance. With its 1,265 horsepower, the Zeekr 001 is one of the most powerful electric vehicles on the market. This car is designed with a focus on performance and luxury, combining cutting-edge technology and elegance. With impressive acceleration and a high top speed, the Zeekr 001 is not only a strong competitor in the world of electric vehicles, but also sets new standards for future electric cars.
And so, dear readers, we made it through a kaleidoscope of automotive innovation and fascinating machinery, which marked the year 2023. From the unstoppable Tesla Cybertruck, which could survive the apocalypse, to the elegant minimalism of the Volvo EX30, which fascinates with its Scandinavian coolness.

And, of course, BMW XM, which reminds us that at BMW they are still capable of creating something truly special. Yes, they may run out of inspiration from time to time, but when they commit, they can create a true masterpiece.
The Suzuki Jimny 5-Door is like David among Goliaths - maybe smaller, but with a huge heart and fearless character. Nio EC7, and brings a breath of fresh air to the world of electric vehicles, standing alongside giants like Tesla.
We finish with Zeekrom 001, which could be in a science fiction film, but at the same time is firmly rooted in reality. This car is like a symbol of the coming Chinese dominance in the automotive industry, reminding us that the future may not be as far as we think.
