14. Lotus Building - Wujin, China
The lotus-shaped building has grown on an artificial lake in the center of the Chinese city of Wujin. It houses the departments of the planning bureau. It can be concluded without a doubt that regardless of the season, the city conjures up an extraordinary atmosphere.
13. An amazing hotel in the Alps
The mountain hotel has not yet been built, but we cannot pass it by. It was designed by designer Andrii Rozhko, who was fascinated by the diverse mountainous landscape. If all goes well, the glass object will be embedded in the mountain wall in the future.
12. Lotus Temple – Bahapur, India
Who would have thought that another building inspired by the aquatic lotus plant would soon be on the list. The temple, which worships the Baha'i religion, is accessible to everyone regardless of religion. Its central hall symbolizes the unity of all religions.
11. Cube houses - Rotterdam, Netherlands
The 40 houses built on Rotterdam's Overblaak street are significantly different from their relatives. It gives passers-by the feeling that the world is turned upside down. The houses, which are inclined at an angle of 45 degrees, were designed by the architect Piet Blom.
10. Atomium – Brussels, Belgium
At first sight of the Atomium, many people think they are staring at a large metal sculpture. This is not the case, as inside it can be found a science museum and a restaurant. The atomium consists of 9 atoms, which are connected to each other as a body-centered crystal cell of iron.
9. City of Arts and Sciences – Valencia, Spain
Many examples of modern architecture can be found in this special town. The complex consists of six buildings: a covered plaza, an opera house, an IMAX cinema, a park with indigenous plant species, a science museum and an oceanographic park. They were signed by architects Santiago Calatrava and Felix Candela.
8. Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center – Baku, Azerbaijan
The building, which can be described as the most famous in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku, is the work of architect Zaha Hadid. She is known to the public for her love of 'space' shapes. Exhibition halls and offices are located inside the center.
7. Emporia Shopping Center - Malmo, Sweden
Scandinavia's largest shopping center is covered with curved glass. Inside, you'll discover colorful escalators, swings that replace regular benches, and hanging gardens.
6. La Muralla Roja – Calpe, Spain

It is difficult to find a person who would not like to live in this settlement in the south of Spain. La Muralla Roja in translation means the red wall. In contrast to the facade, the interior parts of the buildings are painted purple and blue.
5. ArtScience Museum - Singapore
We recommend that you take time out of your visit to Singapore to visit the beautiful museum, which (believe it or not) is shaped like a lotus. In its immediate vicinity is the luxury Marina Bay Sands hotel, which consists of three skyscrapers.
4. Capital Gate – Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
The architectural wonder, which measures 170 meters in height, boasts the title of the most inclined tower in the world. The tower leans to the west by as much as 18 degrees. Just for comparison - the inclination of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa is only 4 degrees.
3. Markthal - Rotterdam, Netherlands
You'll probably agree that Rotterdam's square, located within an arch-shaped residential building, is the most beautiful in the world. Even the Queen of the Netherlands was present at its opening. Arno Coenen embellished the interior of the building with his works of art.
2. Guggenheim Museum - Bilbao, Spain
One of the world's most famous buildings was designed in the spirit of deconstructivism. The museum has both temporary and permanent exhibitions. The latter are dedicated to the art of the 20th century.
