One of the largest motorcycle salons - EICMA in Milan, served this year with many novelties and announcements of motorcycles, which raised the pulse of many visitors and caused drool. Among more than 50 innovations and studies, these 15 attracted the most attention of the motoring public.
If we summarize all the novelties, we can see that they are from this year news concentrated mainly in the high-performance "superbike" classes and segment "naked bike" motorcycles, and there are surprisingly many innovations at enduro motorcycles intended road, but less such off-road ones use. Honda is even more secretive about the next prototype called the true adventure prototype. Kawasaki Z 300
The fact that these "naked" motorcycles are gaining in popularity is evidenced by many innovations, among which it is worth highlighting "stripped" ninja 300, with which Kawasaki developed new With 300. Compared to the previously mentioned ninja, Z was given a bit more attention upright driver position, and inside the frame spins the same 296 cc two-cylinder, which loves to rev to high revs, and the clutch has been tweaked to allow smoother downshifts. There will also be a version with ABS, though against an additional payment.
KTM 1050 adventure
With the new 1050, KTM made a choice "less is more" approach and to him weight compared to the 1290 super adventure brother reduced by almost 20 kilograms. With this, they achieved greater agility and easier handling of the motorcycle and added a slightly lower seating position. In addition, the 1050 has more easily controlled 95 hp, instead of 160, in the aforementioned 1290. At the same time, the rims are more durable and require less maintenance. Nevertheless, the 1050 has and offers WP suspension, variable driving dynamics and ABS and ESC systems, which can be switched off, when driving off-road.
Moto Guzzi Eldorado
The Italian Moto Guzzi returned to the model range after four decades revived the eldorado model. The modern reincarnation of the legend brings rretro-modern design with classic chrome knee panels and original-like double stripes on the tank lid, fenders and elsewhere.
