Two more weeks and "this crazy December" will begin. Weather forecasters are predicting snow down to the lowlands, smokers outside are already puffing ridiculously and blowing whiter clouds of smoke every day, people's faces are already hiding deep behind their collars. I'm sitting here in front of my computer, pondering...
.... I am analyzing, planning how to spend the last month and this time really go somewhere warm, where palm trees grow and coconuts fly from the sky.
Without complaining, I know that some of you have already seen the first snowflakes and many people are already quite sick of it, and the children are already singing that song about winter
white in winter. I know the warm days are gone, at least for now, and I know they'll be back, but I'm getting chills...I'm getting chills just thinking about how windy and freezing cold it is outside. There is no way I can get out of all the blankets that surround me, there is no way I can take off my warm socks and my warm pajamas. All my theory about the relativity of cold is turned on its head when I see my sister in short sleeves, without a warm sweater and socks.
