Let me say it right away: I love London! For me, it is a city of countless opportunities, fascinating pulses of different cultures, a powerful history with a touch of aristocracy, a city of friendly people, red double-decker buses, museums and galleries, literature that I long for, divine restaurants, a city of music and fashion. It's got everything I want, it's got everything I'm looking for.
That's why I'm all the more overwhelmed and excited that I was able to visit London Fashion Week, which took place between February 14 and 19, 2019. Burberry, Erdem, House of Holland, Mother of Pearl, Paul Costelloe, Roksanda, Simone Rocha, Victoria Beckham and Vivienne Westwood are just some of the names that presented their new collections this time. In addition to the fashion shows and brand presentations, other events took place at various locations around the city (showrooms, parties...). Not to even get started on all the notables and celebrities who visited fashion week, including them Helena Bonham Carter and the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla. All the feelings that came to the fore in those days would be really hard to condense in these few lines. The excitement quickly got mixed up with waiting in line, the beauty of the fashion pieces got mixed up with the pain in my legs when I was "suffering" in dizzying heels... It's true, not all that glitters is gold, but it was still very , very worth it.
In the spirit of this fashion adventure, you will also find it in this issue of our magazine fashion trends for men and women. You will be able to check what you should know about the last season of the popular series Game of Thrones, what new did we see at the congress MWC and what it brings Geneva Motor Show.
I wish you a pleasant reading and See you at the tenth LJFW Fashion Week on April 1st!
